a treatise upon the loom &
its native
weave

i. renderthe brush

render is the brush: one stroke at a time, every shape held firm in soot-black ink, every contour quick. there is no canvas behind the scene — only the rust binary, and the brush that paints it.

shapes are poured, not animated; the animation comes after, as breath upon a finished line.

ii. eventthe door

events are the door: a knock arrives, a hand turns, the loom hears. click, key, drag — three names for one motion. dispatch returneth the answer without ceremony, without observer, without middleman.

let the user hit the wall, and the wall report back.

iii. layoutthe bench

layout is the bench upon which the cloth is folded: flex for the soft falls, grid for the square folds, dock for the corners that must hold. nothing more is needed; nothing less will do.

and so the binary standeth at the threshold of the operating system, woven, painted, bound.
